Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of gift vouchers offered by Rifugio Vallata. By making a purchase on www.rifugiovallata.it, the buyer accepts these conditions in full.

2. Products

The gift vouchers available for purchase are described on the Gift Voucher page, along with their prices. Prices include VAT. Rifugio Vallata reserves the right to modify products and prices at any time, without affecting purchases already completed.

3. Purchase and payment

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Rifugio Vallata does not have access to full payment card details. Upon successful payment, the buyer receives a gift voucher by email as a PDF with a unique QR code.

4. Validity

Each gift voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is printed on the voucher. After this period, the voucher can no longer be used and no refund will be issued.

5. Use

Gift vouchers are personal and non-transferable: they may only be used by the person named as recipient at the time of purchase. Use is subject to availability at the Rifugio. We recommend contacting the Rifugio in advance to check availability and make a reservation.

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be partially redeemed, and cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise stated.

6. Redemption

To use the voucher, the recipient must present the PDF (printed or digital) to Rifugio staff. Staff will verify the voucher by scanning the QR code.

7. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the purchase date, without providing any reason, provided the voucher has not already been redeemed.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, send a request to info@rifugiovallata.it including your details, the purchase date, and the voucher number. The refund will be processed within 14 days of receiving the request, using the same payment method as the original purchase.

8. Lost vouchers

If a voucher is lost, please contact info@rifugiovallata.it with the purchase details. Rifugio Vallata may reissue the PDF upon verification of the buyer's identity.

9. Service availability

Voucher use is subject to seat and room availability and the Rifugio's opening hours. The Rifugio does not guarantee availability on specific dates. In the event of temporary or exceptional closure, voucher validity is not automatically extended; the buyer may contact the Rifugio to arrange an alternative.

10. Liability

Rifugio Vallata accepts no liability for any disruption or damage caused by force majeure, including natural events, third-party service interruptions, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Privacy

Personal data collected during the purchase is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Pordenone, without prejudice to the consumer's mandatory forum under Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code.

13. Changes

Rifugio Vallata reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes do not apply to purchases already completed. The updated version will always be available on this page.
